The owner of Crisp Pizza, David was first exposed to Italian cuisine at the tender age of 18 working as a delivery man. It's from this position that his passion for making pizzas and owning his own business began to grow.
“I could always see better ways of doing things and quickly began to visualise how my own store would be.”
- David, owner of Crisp Pizza
After observing the channels of production required, from ‘ordering fresh produce’ to ‘watching a happy customer leave’, David couldn’t help notice ways to improve customer experience, service-levels and food presentation.
"I’ve always experimented, not just keep it as an old school method… and we spend a great deal of time focusing on the freshness of produce.”
In 2006, Crisp Pizza's doors opened, and with the help of his loving wife as well as his sister-in-law Linh, commonly-known as Midge, the trio worked together to build a reputable business, simply by "…providing high quality, fast and friendly services''. Crisp now offer their customers the option of dine-in, pickup and delivery services.
The pizza industry is always changing, and keeping up with trends such as online ordering to provide their customers with yet another valuable service is something that keeps Crisp ahead of the game.
"I really enjoy being able to make my own decisions. This allows me to keep a close eye on what my customer’s actually experience.”
Quickly approaching the 10 year mark, Crisp Pizza have seen staff come and go, branding change and menu items improve, but what the Crisp family have always kept dear to them are their values…
"From day one, we have always wanted to build a solid reputation amongst our local community - by providing high quality, fast and friendly service"
Entering the battlefield with just a passion for the food industry, David was able to grow his business to what it is now.
“We’re extremely grateful for all our loyal customers that have kept us going strong for almost 10 years…. and without the support of my reliable and dedicated staff, loving wife and sister-in-law Midge, we wouldn't be here today”.
